Sometimes a first outing in a sea kayak can be a source of concern for the unaccustomed. One of our great strengths at Expedition Agaguk lies in the expertise of our guides in teaching the basic techniques of the sea kayak. At the start of every expedition, our guides give the participants information on the kayak itself, the main techniques and safety tips. This more theoretical part of the day gives the participants an opportunity to get better acquainted with their guides and the environment they're about to see, ask questions, feel safe about the trip, and be informed about the itinerary and the day's schedule.
